Grape: Mondeuse
Yield: 40 hecto/ha
Ageing process: Aged in oak barrels on the lees
Region: On the clay and limestone foothills of Mount Granier, facing southeast.
Flavour: An authentic wine with a strong personality. Ruby coloured tinged with purple. Redcurrant and cherry nose, and a lingering flavour with a hint of toasted spice.
Food–wine pairing: Grilled meat and sauce-based dishes, game and cheeses
Conservation: 10 years

Mondeuse 2008 wine-tasting report :
‘A mondeuse with a fruity character. Produced on 25-year-old vines, aged on the lees, this wine offers a bouquet of fruits (cherry stalks, bluberries, strawberries, bilberries and forest fruits) in a deep ruby red edged with purple (…)’ (Source Le nouveau guide des vins bios 2010-2011)
